Welcome Quilting Friends,

My Name is Heather Finnell and I am passionate about quilting! I have been quilting for 20 years and have been blessed to find a job that allows me to share my passion with other quilters for the past five years now. I have found this to be very rewarding. Not only do I get to make quilts, I get to make many new quilting friends. What could be any better?

The Better is coming Real Soon!  After much thought and encouragement from friends and family….Burning The Midnight Oil Quilts will be having it’s own store!  I took the plunge and found a nice little space on Wattsburg Rd. (Rt. 8) not far from interstate 90.  The Grand Opening will be on June 6th, but the doors are open for business now!  So come on in and see me.  I can’t wait to show you all around little shop!

I just got back from Quilt Market.  WOW!  what a place.  Here are the patterns I released there.

Online Block of The Month

I have put up a free block of the month quilt. If you miss any of the months you can purchase the blocks you missed for a nominal price. You will be able to download the new block every month for free. This will give you a chance to try my patterns. The free block is available from the 15th of the month to the 14th of the next month when the new one will go up. Let me know what you think. Feedback is really appriceiated!
